As the mastermind of the case, directing all acts from fraud to appropriation of assets to abuse of trust to appropriation of assets, defendant Duong Thanh Cuong requested the panel of judges to sell the assets and clarify some assets related to Mr. Tram Be's companies to recover assets to pay debts to Agribank CN6.

In court, defendant Cuong said he did lie, but because he trusted others too much, he made this mistake.

Previously, in the debate regarding the source of assets between Duong Thanh Cuong's companies and Phuong Nam Bank, defendant Duong Thanh Cuong stated that some of his assets have not yet been recovered and are still at Mr. Tram Be's Long "V" company.

After this presentation, defendant Duong Thanh Cuong wrote a petition for review to the panel of judges. In this petition, defendant Cuong stated that he currently has 620 billion VND from the sale of assets and land to another enterprise but has not been paid. Defendant Cuong requested the panel of judges to clarify in order to recover these assets and pay them to Agribank CN6.

Defendant Le Thanh Cong, former General Director of Dong Phuong Knitting, said he was innocent, the consequences of the case had been resolved, and Dong Phuong Company had not lost any assets.

Defendant Cong also stated that during his 40 years of Party membership, 20 years of military service, and then working at Dong Phuong Knitting, he had run the company profitably. What happened today was beyond his wishes, so he hoped the panel of judges would consider it so he could return to his family soon.

Defendant Ho Dang Trung, former director of Agribank Branch 6, said that he tried to minimize the damage to Agribank, and that trusting both superiors and subordinates led to his mistakes.

Other defendants in the case also asked the panel of judges to consider their behavior and mistakes to give them the lightest sentence.

The court is expected to announce the verdict on Wednesday, November 4.
