Female wushu athlete Duong Thuy Vi brought home the first gold medal for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 17th ASIAD.

After an excellent performance to take first place in the swordplay category with 9.71 points this morning, the 2013 world champion continued her good form in the spearmanship performance in the afternoon to lead the women's spearmanship performance with 9.70 points.
