Truong Son Road - Ho Chi Minh Road: Special National Monument
On March 1, in Binh Phuoc, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province to announce the Decision to rank the "Historical Relic of Truong Son Road - Ho Chi Minh Road" as a special national monument.

On December 9, 2013, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2383/QD/TT-TTg on ranking the "Historical Relic of Truong Son Road - Ho Chi Minh Road" as a special national monument, the section passing through the provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Binh Phuoc.
As the last section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, located in the system of special national relics, the Truong Son Road-Ho Chi Minh Trail historical relic in Binh Phuoc province has 2 items. That is the end point of the petroleum pipeline (VK96) connecting from the northern rear (Lang Son, Mong Cai), through the two East and West Truong Son pipelines to the final point in Bu Gia Map (Binh Phuoc), with a total length of 4,990km.
The second item is the VK98 Fuel Tank - Fuel Depot (Loc Quang Commune, Loc Ninh District). VK98 is the code name of one of the last fuel depots of the oil pipeline from the North to the Southern battlefield during the resistance war against the US to save the country.
The historical relic of Truong Son Road - Ho Chi Minh Road is ranked at the special national level and is the pride of the people of the whole country, contributing to educating the revolutionary struggle tradition for future generations.
The ceremony to announce the Decision to rank the "Truong Son Road - Ho Chi Minh Road Historical Site" as a special national relic is one of the activities within the framework of the National Mobile Propaganda Festival, commemorating the 55th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Road (May 19, 1959 - May 19, 2014), the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (1954-2014) with the theme "Legend of a road".
