Youth Union of the Provincial Military Command performs gratitude activities in Nghi Van commune
(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the Youth Month activities and the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, on the morning of March 20, cadres and youth union members of the 764th Regiment - Nghe An Provincial Military Command held a ceremony to send off troops to show gratitude in Nghi Van commune - Nghi Loc district.
At the military departure ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Kim Hai - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Provincial Military Command, on behalf of the cadres and youth union members of the provincial armed forces, expressed deep gratitude to those who fought and sacrificed for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
With the moral of drinking water, remembering its source, at the ceremony, cadres and youth union members of the Provincial Military Command presented gifts to wounded soldier and Agent Orange victim Nguyen Dinh Hao in hamlets 19 and 20, and presented gifts to Mrs. Dang Thi Xuyen, wife of a martyr, in hamlet 22. Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 90-year-old wounded soldier Nguyen Van My, who fought against the French, and visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Hoang Thi Tuyet - mother of martyr Truong Huy Hoang, also in hamlet 3.
