EURO 2024, Hungary vs Switzerland prediction at 8pm on June 15: Easy draw
Both Hungary and Switzerland are determined to win their opening Group A match of EURO 2024 at 8pm on June 15, with experts predicting a draw.
Hungary arrive at the festival in Germany as group winners in qualifying, while Switzerland are runners-up in another competition for a Euro 2024 ticket.
Dominik Szoboszlai will become the youngest captain in EURO history if he leads Hungary into the match against Switzerland tonight.
“We are a great team, like a big family and together Hungary can do anything,” Szoboszlai declared.
Meanwhile, Switzerland head coach Murat Yakin said: “We have to play the way we have worked hard to build. We will face a challenge against Hungary and need to make the most of every opportunity.”

BBC Sport football expert Chris Sutton said that Switzerland may not be the same team as they were two years ago at the 2022 World Cup, but they are still strong and elite.
Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri will know how to help their countries. But don't underestimate Hungary, who have a very solid defence. Dominik Szoboszlai and Barnabas Varga can pose a threat.
This expert's prediction: The match will end in a draw, Hungary 1-1 Switzerland.
Sportmole experts also believe that the two teams will share points in the opening match, predicting that Hungary vs Switzerland will have a similar result: 1-1.

Sportskeeda pointed out that Hungary has a good head-to-head record against Switzerland, winning 30/46 matches between the two teams, in contrast to their opponents' only 11.
But this is the first meeting between Hungary and Switzerland at a major tournament since the 1938 World Cup, where Hungary won 2-0.
Sportskeeda expert: Dominik Szoboszlai and Roland Sallai are very scary, will try to make their mark in Hungary's EURO 2024 opening match. Switzerland has a quality squad, need to be at their best in this match. But Hungary will probably play better and have the upper hand.
Prediction: Hungary 2-1 Switzerland.
Expected lineup of 2 teams:
Hungary: Gulacsi; Lang, Orban, Szalai, Nego, A. Nagy, Schafer, Kerkez, Szoboszlai, Sallai, Vargas.
Switzerland: Sommer, Schar, Akanji, Rodriguez; Widmer, Freuler, Xhaka, Ndoye, Shaqiri, Vargas, Amdouni.
