Thua Thien-Hue Province has completed the construction of 12 grandstands at six main locations at Ngo Mon Gate, An Dinh Palace and the Imperial City, with a capacity of over 25,000 seats. The grandstands of the Hue Festival 2010 are currently assembled using Korean technology and are also being used for the first time in Vietnam.

The opening stage will consist of three floors that are both fixed and can rotate, slide and rotate (made by Green Connection - Hung Thanh) using the most advanced technology today... This is also where art troupes perform every night.

The program's general director, director Le Quy Duong, said that there will be typical festivals that will be elaborately staged to be performed at Hue Festival 2010 such as "Royal Night" taking place on the evenings of June 5, 8 and 11 at the Imperial Citadel, Hue; "Legend of the Perfume River" taking place on the evenings of June 6 and 12 on the Perfume River; "Eucharistic Sacrifice" taking place on the evening of June 9 at the Nam Giao Altar and the "Journey to Open the Land" festival - the key program of Hue Festival 2010 will take place on the evening of June 10 at the Hue Flag Tower, towards the Grand Celebration of the 1,000th Anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

The art space for the "Journey to Open the Land" is very large, in front of the Flag Tower and around the Citadel moat. Therefore, here, the row of ancient trees had to be "moved" to make room for the stage and will be "returned" after the festival.

The Hue Festival 2010 space was expanded to neighboring areas, towns, townships, and new urban areas. Many locations were put into operation for the first time to serve the Hue Festival with new programs to serve tourists such as Eastern Night, Vietnamese Beauty II - Breath of Water, Naval Exercise of the Nguyen Dynasty...

At this Festival, Hue will perfect and elevate the art of some royal festivals and traditional festivals that have become the trademark of Hue Festival such as the Giao Sacrifice Ceremony, Royal Night, and the Legend of the Perfume River...

In addition to the Imperial City, An Dinh Palace, Nguyen Van Troi Park, Thuong Bac Park, 3-2 Park, Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Thuan An Tourist Area, Lang Co, Thanh Toan Tile Bridge, Phuoc Tich Phong Dien, Nam Dong Town, A Luoi, National Hero Nguyen Hue Quang Trung Memorial Area, Huyen Tran Cultural Area... will be organized into festival centers, with grand, vibrant art performances all day and night and many folk playgrounds and culinary streets.

On this occasion, Thua Thien Hue province also combines the festival program with exciting community tourism and lagoon tourism routes to meet all the needs of tourists such as "One day, one night, one adventure," "Tam Giang, sun and wind," pilgrimage to famous Hue pagodas or enjoying Hue songs on the Perfume River.
