Ford Mustang 2018 facelift coming soon
The upgraded Ford Mustang S550 is expected to launch in mid-2018 for the Australian market.
Compared to the launch in mid-2017, the changes on the Mustang in the mid-cycle upgrade in the Australian market are not many. The car is equipped with headlights, turn signals, and fog lights that all use LED lighting technology.

The sixth-generation Mustang facelift has a new grille design and a lower front end than its predecessor. The rear end has been slightly tweaked with stylized C-shaped three-stripe taillights. The rear bumper and exhaust pipes have a sportier design than before. 19-inch alloy wheels.
The interior of the 2018 Mustang upgrade is familiar with an 8-inch display screen and the SYNC 3 infotainment system. The car is equipped with a six-way power driver's seat and contrasting stitching on the dashboard. Chrome-trimmed door handles and air-conditioning vents.
The Chevrolet Camaro sports car has a 12-inch speedometer that displays three driving modes: Normal, Sport and Track. The MyMode function allows the driver to set their preferred driving mode, including suspension, steering response, exhaust sound.
The engine on the upgraded 2018 Ford Mustang remains unchanged. The car is equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine and a 5-liter V8. The V8 engine alone produces 454 horsepower and 556 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the EcoBoost version produces 300 horsepower and 441 Nm of torque.
The 2018 Mustang comes with two transmission options: a 10-speed automatic and a six-speed manual. Other changes to the Ford include a reinforced frame and new shock absorbers. The MagneRide adaptive suspension is optional.
The 2018 Ford Mustang facelift for the Australian market has no specific price yet. The Mustang version in North America starts at $25,600.
