Fox News: Donald Trump will become the 47th president of the United States
Fox News predicts that Donald Trump has won the US presidency, having won 277 electoral votes, exceeding the required threshold of 270 votes and leading Democratic opponent Kamala Harris - who currently holds 226 votes.

Fox News Decision Desk predicts former President Donald Trump has defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in a stunning victory, giving him a second term in the White House after a historic election cycle filled with unprecedented twists and two assassination attempts.
Trump would be the first president to serve two non-consecutive terms since Grover Cleveland in 1892 — and just the second president in history to do so.
Trump was first elected president in 2016, defeating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and pledging to "Make America Great Again."
According to Fox News, Mr. Trump lost his re-election bid in 2020 to President Biden during the global Covid-19 pandemic, but won back the White House in 2024 after a nearly two-year campaign, pledging to "Make America Great Again."

Mr. Trump officially announced his presidential campaign on November 15, 2022 – just days after the midterm elections.
During his campaign for a second term, Trump focused on his first-term achievements and criticized the failures of the Biden-Harris administration.
The former president pointed to the reversal of some of his key policies as the cause of rising inflation and worsening the US border crisis.
Trump faced a crowded Republican primary field, but emerged as the front-runner, easily defeating his rivals — all of whom ultimately supported him to become the 47th President of the United States — and winning each primary.
Until July, Mr. Trump was still competing with Mr. Biden, who was then seeking re-election to a second term.
However, the two had their first debate in June, and a few weeks later, after a poor performance in the debate, Mr. Biden was pressured by key figures in the Democratic Party to suspend his campaign, according to Fox News.
Mr. Biden announced his decision in a social media post, and endorsed Ms. Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate to replace him, putting his vice president at the top of the list of candidates.
Biden's decision to drop out of the race comes just days after the Republican National Convention (RNC) concluded, and after Trump and his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, formally accepted the Republican nomination.
However, just days before accepting the nomination, Mr. Trump survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. During the event, Mr. Trump presented a chart showing a sharp increase in illegal immigration under the Biden-Harris administration. As he turned to look at the chart, a bullet grazed his right ear, fired by the assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks. Trump credited the chart with saving his life.
A few weeks later, in September, another would-be assassin lurked in the bushes at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. This one, Ryan Wesley Routh, pointed an AK-47-style rifle over the fence at Trump as he played golf. However, Trump was quickly taken away by Secret Service agents and escaped the dangerous situation unharmed.
Just a day later, Trump gave an exclusive interview to Fox News Digital, in which he blamed the "language" of Mr. Biden, Ms. Harris and the Democratic Party for the assassination attacks on him.
“He believed the words of Biden and Harris, and he acted on them,” Mr Trump said of the attacker. “It was their words that got me shot, when I was the one who was going to save this country, and they were the ones who were destroying it – from the inside out.”
The presidential election revealed two very different visions for the future of the United States.
Trump's campaign emphasized "America First" economic policies that promote growth, protect borders, end inflation, and restore "peace through strength" as part of the president's plan.
The Trump campaign's final message was: "Harris screwed it up. Trump will fix it."
In the final weeks of the campaign, Trump traveled to Pennsylvania and worked at a McDonald's as a fry cook, in a dig at Harris, who has previously said she worked at the fast-food chain.
Meanwhile, Ms Harris campaigned on Mr Trump as a threat to democracy and warned supporters that he would sign a nationwide abortion ban – something Mr Trump has repeatedly denied.
The rhetoric hasn’t died down. Trump held a massive, sold-out rally just a week before Election Day at New York City’s heavily Democratic Madison Square Garden. Democrats, including Harris, compared Trump to “Hitler” afterward.
According to Fox News, Mr. Biden, less than a week before the election, described Trump supporters as "trash".
During his presidential campaign, Trump received support from key Republican figures, as well as from unlikely allies such as former Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Democratic representative Tulsi Gabbard.
In addition to politicians, Trump has received support from prominent business leaders, including Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick. Lutnick revealed to Fox News Digital that many Wall Street leaders have secretly pledged their support for Trump.
