FPT in the list of the best software outsourcing in the world

FPT Software is the first Vietnamese enterprise to be on the list announced by the International Association of Software Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).

This is the 9th year IAOP has published this list and also the first time a representative from Vietnam has been present. Previously, in 2012, IAOP also included FPT Software in the list of the 10 best software outsourcing service providers in Japan and one of the top 10 companies in the Southeast Asia region.

FPT Software is the first Vietnamese representative to be listed in the top 100 global outsourcing companies.

To rank the list of 100 outsourcing service providers, IAOP evaluated on 4 criteria including scale and growth rate, customer satisfaction, organizational capacity and management ability.

“In a context of strong growth in demand for outsourcing services, the Global 100 Service Providers List becomes a useful reference tool to help companies choose the right service provider,” said Ms. Debi Hamill, CEO of IAOP.

As a long-time customer of FPT Software, Mr. Jerome Modolo, Director of Software Research & Development of Neopost (France) said that this unit has had many changes in the past 7 years, including technological capacity, organization as well as meeting customer needs.

After 15 years of development, FPT Software now has over 5,000 employees, with 2013 revenue of over 100 million USD. In 2014, FPT Software plans to recruit 2,500 new employees and increase revenue by 30% compared to 2013. The company also targets 200 million USD in revenue and 10,000 employees in 2016.

FPT Software currently has 250 customers globally, including nearly 40 Fortune 500 customers in the fields of manufacturing, semiconductor, healthcare, oil and gas, financial services, and satellite television.
