Game "Saga Arena" was fined for operating without a license

The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Information and Communications has just issued a Decision to administratively sanction Mobimedia Joint Stock Company for providing unlicensed electronic games.

Decision No. 34/QD-XPVPHC signed by Chief Inspector Dang Anh Tuan on April 19 clearly stated that Mobimedia, located in Thinh Quang ward (Dong Da, Hanoi), provided the games "Journey to the West" and "Saga Arena" through the homepage http://moplay.vn without a license from the state management agency.

This behavior is regulated in Clause 5, Article 67 of Decree No. 174/2013/ND-CP dated November 13, 2013 of the Government stipulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of post, telecommunications, information technology and radio frequencies.

The fine for Mobimedia is 85 million VND. Mobimedia has the right to appeal this decision according to regulations./.
