(Baonghean.vn)- On the evening of February 3, Dien Chau Traffic Police caught a case of transporting animal products on a passenger car in violation of regulations.

Traffic police officers and Dien Chau Veterinary Station inspected animal products contained in 17 foam boxes.

At the above time, while patrolling and controlling at km 430, National Highway 1A in Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau, the patrol team of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An province) inspected the passenger car with license plate 53S-8001 driven by Do Khac Hung (born in 1974), residing in Tan Phu District - Ho Chi Minh City, traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the vehicle was carrying 17 foam boxes containing 1,195 kg of processed animal products, including tongue, skin, meat, penis and brains of buffalo and cows, preserved in ice.

These animal products all have quarantine certificates and are allowed to be transported on truck with license plate 29C-39396. Thus, the above animal products were transported on a passenger car with license plate 53S-8001, which is against regulations. According to driver Do Khac Hung, he was hired to transport 2 owners (names unknown) from Hanoi to Da Nang for sale.

The patrol team made a record to confiscate all of these animal products and handed them over to the Dien Chau District Veterinary Department for handling according to the provisions of law.
