Nearly 1.3 tons of rotten animal viscera from Hanoi were transported by truck to Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Police Department of Crime Prevention (PC49) has just arrested a case of transporting a large quantity of rotten animal organs in Dien Ngoc commune (Dien Chau).

At 1:45 p.m. on September 26, the PC 49 Criminal Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) received a report from the public that at Mr. Ngo Quang Trung's house, Dong Loc hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, there was a truck with license plate 29C-545.90 driven by Nguyen Ngoc Quy, born in 1983, residing in Phuc Tien commune, Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi, unloading some packages containing foul-smelling animal organs from the truck into the freezer.

Number of rotten animals in cold storage

After receiving the report, Team 2 of the Criminal Police Department (PC49) coordinated with the authorities of Dien Ngoc commune and related agencies to verify and seize 1.3 tons of rotten animal organs at Mr. Trung's house.

In the initial verification, Mr. Trung said that the above organs were stored by Mr. Ngo Xuan Truc, born in 1972, residing in block 6, Dien Chau town, who rented a cold storage from his family. Mr. Ngo Xuan Truc, the owner of the goods, declared that he purchased these organs in Phu Thuy, Phu Xuyen, Hanoi and transported them to Nghe An for consumption.

Through inspection at the cold storage, there were nearly 1.3 tons of animal organs that smelled rotten and had unknown origin.
