Authorities are currently searching for and identifying victims of the wildfire disaster and continuing rescue efforts as nearly 1,300 people remain unaccounted for.
President Donald Trump on November 17 inspected areas affected by wildfires with state governor Jerry Brown and governor-elect Gavin Newsom.
Governor Jerry Brown said the federal government is doing what is necessary to clean up the environment and search for victims.
Nearly 13,000 homes have been destroyed and more than 46,000 people remain displaced. Many shelters are overflowing and many people are staying in tents or cars.
The cause of the fires is still under investigation, however, power authorities said there were some electrical equipment failures around the time the fires broke out.
This is considered one of the largest wildfire disasters in US history./.
