Nearly 100kg of firecrackers exploded on a North-South passenger bus

(Baonghean.vn) - At 1:30 p.m. on December 18, the Traffic Police (Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police) to arrest a case of transporting nearly 100 kg of various types of firecrackers.

Forces of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police) checked the number of fireworks transported on passenger cars.

Previously, upon receiving information from the public, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station coordinated with the Traffic Police Department to plan a blockade and at the same time arranged forces to follow the vehicle.

When the passenger bus with license plate 34B-013.84 driven by Mr. Dam Van Khang (born in 1977, residing in Thach Khoi commune, Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province) reached Km 430 of National Highway 1A (in Dien An commune, Dien Chau district), the authorities ordered the vehicle to stop for inspection.

Nearly 100 kg of these types of firecrackers were handed over to the investigation agency. Nghe An Provincial Police completed the documents and handled them according to the law.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was carrying 3 white foam boxes containing 1,142 firecrackers and 24 36-round firecrackers. The total weight was nearly 100 kg of firecrackers.
