Nearly 4,510 billion VND in loans for policy credit programs

In the first 6 months of 2011, total outstanding loans for policy credit programs in Nghe An province reached nearly 4,510 billion VND, an increase of 610 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, achieving a growth rate of 15.6% per year and completing 97.1% of the yearly plan.

Of which, outstanding loans for poor households are 1,524 billion VND with 124,000 poor households receiving loans for production; outstanding loans for students are 2,214 billion VND with more than 121,000 poor and disadvantaged families; loans for clean water and rural environmental sanitation programs are 191 billion VND; loans for poor households to build houses according to Decision 167/QD-TTg are 106.1 billion VND with 13,264 poor households receiving loans.
