Nearly 50 young people brought 'pig-stabbing knives' to the streets to resolve conflicts

On the afternoon of March 30, Dong Anh District Police (Hanoi) said they had investigated and clarified the identities of two groups of nearly 50 young people who used weapons to disrupt public order.

Previously, on the evening of March 27, police discovered two groups of people from Soc Son and Gia Lam districts (Hanoi) gathering to fight and disturb public order in Nguyen Khe commune, Dong Anh district.

Immediately afterwards, the police deployed forces to arrest the subjects. Through verification and investigation, Dong Anh District Police have identified nearly 50 related subjects.

Initial determination, stemmed from a conflict on social networks between the group of N.D.H. (born 2007, in Xuan Thu, Soc Son) from Soc Son district and the group of NHP (born 2005, in Dong Anh) from Gia Lam district.

The two groups drove motorbikes and carried weapons to Dong Anh district to fight. The police seized many iron pipes with knives attached to them for the two groups to resolve the conflict.

Based on the investigation documents, Dong Anh District Police issued an emergency detention order for 26 subjects for disturbing public order.
