Nearly 60 billion VND for site clearance and compensation for key projects

Notably, the budget for land acquisition for key projects such as VSIP, D4 road in the Southeast Economic Zone, Song Lam Cement Factory, and relocation of Warehouse 852 of the Military Ordnance Department reached 57.6 billion VND. The Department also advised the Provincial People's Committee to allocate the first phase of compensation for exemption of irrigation fees in 2017 with an amount of 145 billion VND, and to repay the debt for purchasing and transporting cement for new rural construction with 10 billion VND....
According to the report of the Department of Finance, local budget expenditure in the first 5 months of 2017 is estimated at 8,554 billion VND, reaching 40.4% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
Of which, development investment expenditure is estimated at 1,950 billion VND, reaching 42.1% of the estimate, regular expenditure is estimated at 6,559 billion VND, reaching 40.6% of the estimate.
Regular expenditure in the first 5 months of 2017 mainly focused on salaries and salary-related expenses, ensuring regular operations of agencies, units, and public services.
