Nearly 700 athletes participate in the Sports Festival of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An

On the morning of August 27, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held the Opening Ceremony.Sports CongressThe 6th Nghe An Agriculture and Rural Development Conference in 2022. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Agencies Party Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and other units.

This year’s Nghe An Agriculture and Rural Development Sports Festival has the participation of nearly 700 athletes from 38 agencies, units and enterprises in the province. The athletes compete in 5 sports including: football, men’s volleyball, women’s volleyball, badminton and tug of war.

In recent years, the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has regularly focused on directing and organizing the effective implementation of the Party and State's policies on physical education and sports. The physical education and sports movement of the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has developed strongly and widely, both in terms of facilities and athletes.

This is a sports activity to contribute to motivating, encouraging and promoting physical exercise and sports movements, improving health, cultural and spiritual life for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole industry. This is also an opportunity for cadres, civil servants and workers in the industry to exchange, meet, share experiences, and strengthen solidarity and friendship among units in the whole industry.

At the opening ceremony, the athletes' representatives promised to compete with the spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm, honesty, nobility, striving for the highest achievements; contributing good matches, beautiful situations, worthy of the cultural and sports tradition of the industry. The comrades in the referee team promoted the sense of responsibility, worked fairly, objectively, honestly and according to the law to contribute to the success of the Congress.
