For the past two years, Mr. Lo Van An’s family has been entrusted by Ms. Van to raise 18 goats, including 16 female goats. When the goats reproduce, his family receives 60-70%. “With that method, the family does not have to invest capital to buy breeds, but every year there are still livestock for sale, bringing in a significant source of income to gradually escape poverty. My wife and I are truly grateful for Ms. Van’s help and strive to raise better goats…” - Mr. An shared.
In 2010, Ms. Lang Thi Hai Van was honored to join the Party. Immediately after that, she was elected Vice President of the Commune Women's Union and was elected by the Ke Sung village Party members as Secretary of the Party Cell. Taking on "two roles", although busy, she still arranged her time reasonably to complete the assigned tasks well. In the role of a Women's Union officer, she closely coordinated with organizations and branches in 9 villages in the commune to promote propaganda and mobilize women and families to develop production, raise livestock, and build national solidarity. Many models of trees and animals were sustainably developed by women in the commune, creating trust in the organization as well as trust in the leadership of the Party Committee and government.
With the responsibility of the Party cell secretary, she always seeks opinions from Party members, the village management board and regularly grasps the thoughts and aspirations of the people to implement solutions to build the village. From the Party cell's thematic resolution, in the past two years, 174 households of Ke Sung village have actively increased production, eliminated hunger and reduced poverty. This movement has contributed to reducing the number of poor households in the village from 74 households (in 2011) to 53 households by the end of 2013. Currently, the Party cell, the management board and the village's organizations are strengthening the work of mobilizing people to contribute to concreting the roads inside the village, creating convenience in daily life and socio-economic development.
Comrade Ha Manh Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Mau Duc Commune Party Committee, commented: “In both positions as Vice President of the Commune Women's Union and Secretary of the village Party Cell, Comrade Van always strives to complete all assigned tasks. Especially in the role of Party Cell Secretary, although she is a young Party member, with her enthusiasm, she has promoted her responsibility, built solidarity within the Party and the whole people to build a prosperous village. Over the past 2 years, she and the Party Cell have brought the Party Cell from weak to strong. The work of Comrade Lang Thi Hai Van has truly had a positive impact on the activities of all grassroots Party Cells in the commune.”
