At the meeting, Nghi Loc district leaders summarized the great contributions of the Party Committee, government and people of Nghi Loc in the nation's long-term resistance wars; at the same time, informed about the socio-economic development situation in recent times.
On the morning of August 27, Nghi Loc district organized a meeting with generals and heroes of the People's Armed Forces from Nghi Loc. Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Huu Quang - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee; Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region IV; Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and 32 generals from Nghi Loc. |
Accordingly, the economic growth rate remained at 9.25%, the production value in the first 6 months of 2017 reached over 5,135 billion VND, the average income per capita reached nearly 34 million VND/person/year, the whole district has 11 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards, 2 communes are preparing to reach the finish line in 2017.

Education and training have changed in both scale and quality; people's health care has made much progress; culture and sports have been promoted to meet people's needs. National defense and security have been strengthened, social order and safety have been maintained.
Nghi Loc has 32 generals, armed forces heroes, and labor heroes in the renovation period. At the meeting, the generals and people's armed forces heroes shared and reviewed the heroic tradition of Nghi Loc people.
At the same time, the generals also believe that with its heroic tradition, Nghi Loc will unite to overcome difficulties and challenges, complete the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.
