Meeting with families of officers and soldiers on duty to protect the Fatherland's sea and islands
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 8, Quang Trung Ward (Vinh City) organized a meeting with 8 families in the ward whose husbands and children are serving in Navy and Coast Guard units in the sea and island areas of the Fatherland.
On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Committee and local people, comrade Nguyen Xuan Do - Party Committee Secretary kindly visited and encouraged the families and hoped that the families would encourage their husbands and children to work with peace of mind and steadfastly protect the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.

| Ward leaders give gifts to families of officers and soldiers |
On this occasion, each family of the officers and soldiers received a gift worth 2.3 million VND from the support of 16 million VND from Tuan Hung Transport Company and 2.4 million VND from Quang Trung Ward.
In addition to the above activities, responding to the program "Joining hands and contributing for the sovereignty of the sea and islands", the whole ward has supported more than 119 million VND to deposit into the account of the City Fatherland Front Committee.
