Meeting with Doctors who received awards and noble titles from the State

(Baonghean.vn)On January 12, 2013, the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Health held an intimate meeting with doctors who were awarded noble awards and titles by the State.

Attending the meeting were 2 People's Physicians, 74 Meritorious Physicians who are working or have retired in the province; 8 Meritorious Physicians from Nghe An who are working all over the country. Also attending the meeting were Professor, Doctor Ha Van Quyet - Deputy Director of Viet Duc Hospital, concurrently Director of Hanoi Medical University Hospital. Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended the meeting.

In the warm and friendly atmosphere of the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Health reported on the health situation in 2012 and the health development plan for 2013. They especially emphasized the difficulties and shortcomings of Nghe An health sector, so that delegates could contribute ideas and suggestions to help the sector.

Acknowledging the achievements of Nghe An health sector, and thanking the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Health for organizing a meaningful meeting, the delegates contributed many enthusiastic, in-depth, relevant and useful opinions. The issues that delegates were interested in and contributed opinions on were around strengthening human resource training to ensure both quantity and high quality; quality of medical examination and treatment at grassroots, district and provincial levels; the construction of high-quality medical centers; the issue of mobilizing resources of the entire population through health insurance...

At the meeting, Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh thanked the delegates for their intellectual, sincere and straightforward comments. At the same time, she affirmed that these comments contributed to helping the health sector revise and supplement the plan to advise the provincial leaders to make the right decisions for the health development cause, thereby, effectively implementing the work of medical examination and treatment for the people.
