Meeting with senior officials in the Military Region
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of December 20 in Vinh City, the Military Region 4 Command held a meeting with retired senior military officers in the area, on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 23rd anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22).

More than 500 senior officers, representatives of leaders of 6 provinces; Military Command; Veterans Association in Military Region 4 attended the meeting. At the meeting, on behalf of the Standing Committee - Party Committee, Military Region Command, Major General Vo Van Viet, Political Commissar of the Military Region informed the delegates about the outstanding political situation in the country and internationally, the socio-economic situation, national defense - security, foreign affairs and foreign defense affairs, the results of building the all-people national defense, building the people's army and performing the tasks of the Army and the armed forces of Military Region 4. On this occasion, the Political Commissar of the Military Region sent New Year greetings 2013 to the families of retired senior military officers in the area.
More than 500 senior military officers attended the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the generals and senior officers expressed their feelings and affirmed that the retired generals and senior officers are still absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; actively participate in local activities; and educate their children and grandchildren to strictly abide by the Constitution and laws of the State.
