Meeting with retired staff of the Department of Health Office on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day February 27

(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of the 58th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2013), on the morning of February 22, Nghe An Department of Health organized a spring meeting with former leaders of the Department of Health and retired officials and civil servants of different periods.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Health reported on the achievements of the Health Sector in the past year. In 2012, although the Health Sector faced many difficulties, the staff overcame all difficulties and challenges, focused on directing and effectively implementing key tasks, contributing significantly to the increasingly strong development of the entire sector, especially in the fields of high technology such as: successful open heart surgery, treatment of congenital heart disease, cerebral vascular intervention, hepatic artery embolization... while doing a good job of preventive medicine, preventing major epidemics from occurring in the area.

On behalf of the leaders of the Department of Health, Dr. Bui Dinh Long - Director of the Department received valuable and extremely practical comments contributing to the implementation of the task of caring for and protecting people's health and acknowledged the significant contributions of retired health sector officials in contributing to the development of the province's health sector. He also affirmed the determination that in 2013, civil servants and public employees in the entire sector will strive to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people. Strive to soon turn Nghe An into a high-tech medical center of the North Central region.
