Meeting with female intellectuals, leaders and managers in universities and colleges

(Baonghean.vn) -Celebrate102 years of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2012), 1972 years of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and towards the 11th National Women's Congress, the Committee for the Advancement of Women, the Women's Union and the Provincial Labor FederationOrganized "Meeting with female intellectual leaders and managers working in universities and colleges in Vinh City".

Attending the meeting were comrades: Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors and 45 female intellectual delegates, leaders and managers of 9 universities and colleges in Vinh city.

Comrade Tran Hong Chau acknowledged the contributions of female intellectuals from universities and colleges.

Provincial leaders presented gifts to congratulate female officials, managers, and leaders of universities and colleges in the city.

Currently, the whole province has 15 female associate professors and 29 female doctors working at universities and colleges. The women have strived to contribute in each field of work, successfully implementing the movement "Good at public affairs, good at housework", and the Campaignpublic employee“Loyal, creative, dedicated, exemplary”, effortResearch and contribute to the application of scientific and technological advances to serve the socio-economic development needs of the province.

Typical examples include the female lecturers of Vinh University, Nghe An Pedagogical College, Vinh Medical University, Vinh Technical Pedagogical University, etc. Many scientific research projects undertaken by female intellectuals have achieved high awards and have been applied in practice, dozens of them have been awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the General Confederation of Labor. In particular, in many different forms and levels, the female intellectual team is truly a typical nucleus participating in implementing the strategic goals of the Party and State on Gender Equality.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, comrade Tran Hong Chau congratulated the achievements that female intellectuals from universities and colleges have achieved, contributing to the innovation of science, education, human resource training, management and application in current social life. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, women would further promote their role in management, leadership and taking care of a prosperous and happy family.
