Meeting with Generals and Heroes of the People's Public Security Forces from Nghe An in Hanoi
On August 3, Nghe An Association organized the program "Meeting with Generals and Heroes of the People's Public Security Forces of Nghe An in Hanoi" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945 - 2025); 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Sinh Hung - Former Politburo member, former Chairman of the National Assembly; Truong Dinh Tuyen - Former Party Central Committee member, former Minister of Trade, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Ta Quang Ngoc - Former Party Central Committee member, former Minister of Fisheries; Dr. Le Doan Hop - Former Party Central Committee member, former Minister of Information and Communications, former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Dr. Hoang Xuan Luong - Former Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Committee, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police.
Attending the meeting were more than 50 generals and heroes of the People's Public Security Forces from Nghe An who are currently working and living in the capital Hanoi.

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the tradition of solidarity, attachment, fighting, and many achievements during the 80-year journey of building and growing the People's Public Security Force. At the same time, they expressed their gratitude and respect to President Ho Chi Minh and the late Minister of Public Security of Vietnam Tran Quoc Hoan - who laid the foundation for the work of building the force and professional skills of the Public Security sector.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee reported on the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 6 months of 2025; the flood situation and solutions to respond to and overcome the consequences of floods.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi Hoang Xuan Luong hoped that generals and heroes of the Armed Forces would actively contribute to educating traditions, preserving the image and qualifications of police officers according to Uncle Ho's 6 teachings; and actively participate in volunteer activities in their homeland.

Through the program, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi agreed to assign Major General, writer Nguyen Hong Thai - Vice Chairman of the Association to coordinate with the Nghe An Former People's Police Club in Hanoi to visit comrades and people affected by storm No. 3 in Nghe An province with an amount of more than 50 million VND.
The funding comes from a number of generals, heroes of the People's Public Security Forces, and philanthropists.
