The hall of the Nam Dan District Political School, although so large, has now become overloaded with 77 sets of utensils and toys (high-prize winning products in competitions of units) from 27 kindergartens in Nam Dan district brought to display at the Contest of Homemade Utensils and Toys for Preschoolers in the 2011-2012 school year.

These seemingly discarded materials, through the creativity and skillful hands of the teachers, have become products that ensure aesthetics, science, and pedagogy, suitable for the psychological characteristics and cognitive abilities of preschool children. The sets of utensils and toys are all very beautiful, attracting children from the slow movement of the turtle, the fast jumping of the grasshopper; the friendliness of the deer made of straw, the fish made from pearl shells,... but must be durable and easy to assemble and disassemble are the criteria that the teachers always choose.
