That is the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Training to all candidates taking the national high school exam and registering for university admission in 2017.

Accordingly, in 2017, the Ministry of Education and Training thoroughly applied information technology in organizing exams and enrollment.

To avoid errors when registering for the exam and applying for admission to regular universities and colleges for regular teacher training programs, the Ministry especially reminds candidates to enter the correct school code, major code, and admission combination code. Any incorrect application will be rejected because the software does not accept it.

However, after the first two days of registration, the application receiving department in some localities said that some candidates declared their registration wishes incorrectly regarding school codes, major codes, and admission combination codes, for example, the major code for university level still used D instead of 52, and the college level still used C instead of 51 at the beginning of the major code.

According to some schools and localities, the reason is that candidates use incorrect documents and information sources for exam and admission instructions.

To ensure accurate registration and avoid errors, the Ministry of Education and Training notes that candidates must carefully study the examination regulations, admission regulations, related guidance documents and especially need to clearly understand the admission information of the school that candidates wish to register for in the admission plan of each school that has been publicly announced on the school's electronic information page and at the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal (address: thituyensinh.vn).

Candidates wishing to apply for college majors other than pedagogy will not submit their application to the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training but will follow the instructions of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the specific regulations of each school.
