Nghe An: Highlights on January 11

* Morning of January 11,Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh- Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education attended the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" organized by the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation.
The program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" was organized by the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation at Luxvisions Innovation Science and Technology Company Limited, located in VSIP Nghe An Urban and Service Industrial Park.
At the program, 100 workers from enterprises in the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone with difficult circumstances received gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (including 1,000,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND/person).
*Same day,Comrade Nguyen Van Chi- Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee visited and presented gifts to workers of Haivina Kim Lien Limited Liability Company, Nam Dan district.
On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Van Chi presented 100 gifts (each worth 1.3 million VND) to workers and employees of the company; the Provincial Labor Federation presented 50 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) and the Nam Dan District Labor Federation presented 50 gifts to workers and poor employees to celebrate Spring and Tet.
* On the morning of January 11, at Quy Hop High School, the Department of Education and Training - Education Trade Union organizedProgram Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Partyyear 2025.
The program "Tet Sum Vay" is an annual activity of the Education sector every time Tet comes, Spring comes, with many practical topics, demonstrating profound humanity, care, encouragement and sharing to cadres, teachers and workers.
After 7 times of organization, the program has given gifts to more than 1,400 teachers with a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND.

*Regarding the field of education, on the morning of January 11, at Vinh University, the Ministry of Education and Training, Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organizedAdmissions and Career Counseling Program 2025.
This is the 23rd year of the program and the 10th time it has taken place in Nghe An. This activity is an important educational event that attracts thousands of high school students in Vinh city and neighboring districts to participate.

* The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has justissued Directive No. 33-CT/TUJanuary 8, 2025 on strengthening the Party's leadership in connecting labor supply and demand, creating jobs, and attracting workers for domestic enterprises and FDI enterprises in Nghe An province, period 2025 - 2030.
In this Directive, the Provincial Party Standing Committee requests Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to thoroughly grasp and well implement four key tasks.
*In the first 10 days of implementing Decree 168/CP, the Traffic Police force of Nghe An Province Police, along with propaganda and reminders to the people, has strongly deployed the work of checking and handling traffic violations.
During the 10 days, the provincial traffic police force organized 1,212 patrols with 4,873 officers and soldiers. Thereby, they recorded 2,587 violations, handled 2,473 cases, fined 4.4 billion VND, revoked driving licenses of 409 cases, and deducted driving license points of 171 cases.
