According to information from the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police, as of December 15, 2024, the whole province had 18,064 newly registered cars, an increase of nearly 3,000 cars compared to 2023. It is forecasted that before the Lunar New Year, the number of newly registered cars in Nghe An will increase by about 2,000 cars, bringing the total number of newly registered cars this year to a record 20,000 cars. With the sharp increase in newly registered cars, Nghe An continues to rank 3rd in the country in terms of the number of newly registered cars, only after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. In the face of such an increase in vehicles, people need to strictly comply with traffic rules to help reduce traffic congestion and accidents.
Authorities also recommend that people should pay attention to complying with the provisions of Decree 168/CP on traffic violations, with higher fines and driving license point deductions. Traffic violations not only cause people to face large fines but can also result in points being deducted or their driving license being revoked. Therefore, strictly following traffic rules is extremely important to avoid heavy fines and affecting personal rights. Photo: Nguyen Dao
