Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today in the Central Highlands region increased sharply compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 132,000 - 133,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 133,000 VND/kg. A sharp increase of 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee price in Dak Lak province is 133,000 VND/kg, an increase of 2,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by VND2,000/kg and were traded at VND132,800/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by VND2,200/kg to VND132,000/kg.

The latest domestic coffee price is recorded at 133,000 VND/kg, quite a difference compared to the floor price, so many gardeners expect the purchase price to continue to increase, at least 10,000 VND/kg.
Updated to January 2025, coffee exports from the world's No. 1 source showed that the situation is still not optimistic when the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafe) said that export output was 238,800 tons, down 1.3% compared to the same period last year.
In Vietnam, the world's second largest coffee exporter, the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) reported that coffee export output in January 2025 was 149,202 tons, down 28.1%.
This is considered the starting factor for the skyrocketing coffee prices, leading to a series of price records and export turnover records. Financial investors are also pouring money into the coffee market because of the high profitability, causing coffee prices to increase to an unimaginable level.

The International Coffee Price Index (I-CIP) averaged 310.1 US cents/lb in January, up 3.5% from the previous month and up 75.8% from the same month in 2023. This is also the highest price recorded in the past 48 years, since April 1977.
According to MXV, the export report from the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafe) has increased concerns about the supply situation in Brazil - the world's largest coffee producer, thereby boosting buying pressure in the market. According to the latest figures from the Association, the country's green coffee export volume in January reached only 3.98 million bags, down 1.6% compared to the same period last year. This is the second consecutive month of decline in exports from the country that provides the world's largest Arabica beans.
A similar trend was seen with Arabica coffee, which has fallen from a two-and-a-half-year high of more than 993,000 bags on January 6 to nearly 842,000 bags, its lowest level in more than three months, according to ICE.
