Coffee price today 2/10/2025: 4th consecutive week of price increase

Today's domestic coffee price on February 10 is at 128,500 - 129,500 VND/kg. This is the fourth consecutive week of price increase. Arabica coffee prices have continuously set new records, while Robusta has decreased significantly compared to last week.

Domestic coffee prices today

Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands today remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 128,500 - 129,500 VND/kg.

Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 129,500 VND/kg. No change compared to yesterday.

Coffee price in Dak Lak province is 129,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged and were traded at VND129,500/kg.

In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged at VND128,500/kg.

According to records, coffee prices in the two provinces of Dak Lak and Gia Lai are being purchased at 129,500 VND/kg, an increase of 700 VND/kg last week. This is the 4th consecutive week that domestic coffee prices have increased.

Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Nong province stood at VND129,500/kg, up VND500/kg compared to last week.

In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by 700 VND/kg last week, to 128,500 VND/kg.

In January, for the first time, the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) had an analytical report on processed coffee and calculated the conversion to green coffee for accurate comparison.

Accordingly, in January, businesses exported 154,635 tons of coffee, with an export turnover of 799.48 million USD. Of which, exported coffee beans reached 137,568 tons, with a turnover of 694.93 million USD, down 38.2% in volume but up 8.8% in turnover compared to the same period last year.

Processed coffee exports reached 17,067 tons, with a turnover of 104.55 million USD, accounting for 11% of total volume and 13.1% of total turnover of exported coffees with 3 main products: roasted and ground coffee, pure instant coffee and blended instant coffee.

World coffee prices today

Coffee prices on the world market also fluctuate:

Robusta Coffee (London):

March 2025 delivery: Down 72 USD/ton, down to 5,561 USD/ton.

Delivery in May 2025: Down 82 USD/ton, down to 5,564 USD/ton.

Arabica Coffee (New York):

March 2025 delivery: Up 0.4 cents/lb, to 404.35 cents/lb.

May 2025 delivery: Down 0.4 cents/lb, to 396.7 cents/lb.

Thus, Arabica coffee prices have increased for 12 consecutive sessions due to strong buying activities from speculators amid limited supply.

Robusta coffee prices turned down due to selling pressure from Vietnam after the Lunar New Year holiday.

In addition, there are concerns that US President Donald Trump may impose trade tariffs on South American countries - key coffee producers. The rise of the Brazilian real to a 2.5-year high against the dollar also contributed to supporting coffee prices, reducing sales by Brazilian exporters.
