Coffee price today March 4, 2025: Slight increase, forecast to remain high
Today's domestic coffee price, March 4, is at 128,000 - 130,000 VND/kg. Coffee price increased slightly by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Export coffee price on the two floors increased slightly again.
Domestic coffee prices today
Domestic coffee prices today, March 4, 2025, in the Central Highlands region increased slightly compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 128,000 - 130,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 130,000 VND/kg. A slight increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 130,000 VND/kg, a slight increase of 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by VND500/kg and were traded at VND130,000/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by VND500/kg and reached VND128,000/kg.

Coffee prices in the Vietnamese market have remained high at over VND100,000/kg for nearly a year. This trend is expected to continue as supply shows no signs of improvement.
According to Mr. Trinh Duc Minh, Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association, coffee prices remain high mainly due to supply and demand factors, in addition to the influence of the world economic and political situation.
In Brazil, coffee production is forecast to decline due to drought, while Vietnam also recorded a 10-15% decline in the recent harvest, causing stocks and inventories to decrease.
The Brazilian Coffee Industry Association (ABIC) believes that world coffee prices will continue to rise in the coming months. The reason is that this country has been facing difficulties for the past 4 years due to harsh weather, seriously affecting coffee production and export.
Brazil’s coffee harvest is still months away, while Vietnam’s harvest will begin later in the year. As a result, Trinh Duc Minh predicts coffee prices will remain high this year.
World coffee prices today

Robusta Coffee (London):
Delivery in March 2025: Up 40 USD/ton, to 5,351 USD/ton.
Delivery in May 2025: Up 40 USD/ton, to 5,311 USD/ton.
Arabica Coffee (New York):
March 2025 delivery: Up 3.75 cents/lb, to 376.8 cents/lb.
May 2025 delivery: Up 3.5 cents/lb, to 368.25 cents/lb.
According to the General Department of Customs, from January 1, 2025 to February 15, 2025, Vietnam's coffee export turnover reached 1.16 billion USD, an increase compared to the same period in 2024 (0.93 billion USD). Reflecting high demand in the international market or export prices that are favorable for Vietnamese enterprises.
Coffee prices may recover slightly this week but remain under pressure from supply and demand. Robusta is forecast to fluctuate around $5,300 - $5,400 per ton, while Arabica is unlikely to surpass 360 cents per lb if demand does not improve.
However, in the medium term, the market is expected to be more positive in mid-April when Brazil enters its new harvest, boosting buying activity from major roasters.
