Impersonating police to rob

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 30, Dien Chau District Police said they were investigating and clarifying the case of a group of people impersonating police officers and robbing citizens of their property.

Previously, at 0:05 a.m. on October 28, Nguyen Trong Lam (born in 1987) and Nguyen Van Long (born in 1993), both residing in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen, were riding a motorbike from Dien Chau to Hung Nguyen. When they passed through Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau, a subject riding a motorbike with license plate 37B2-61129 going in the opposite direction stopped them and asked for cigarettes. The subject claimed to be a police officer and asked the two men to show their papers.

This subject used a helmet to beat 2 people and took a leather wallet containing 460,000 VND. While the subject was controlling Lam and Long, 4 other subjects on 3 motorbikes (license plates unknown) came to witness, then all of them left.
