Oil prices drop from 3pm on April 11, gasoline prices remain unchanged
Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and Vietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) said that starting from 3:00 p.m. on April 11, Petrolimex and PV Oil will adjust the price of diesel, fuel oil and kerosene down by 90-130 VND/liter while keeping gasoline prices unchanged according to the direction of the Ministry of Finance.

Specifically, diesel 0.05S and 0.025S decreased by 90 VND, down to 22,510 VND/liter and 22,460 VND/liter, respectively. Kerosene price decreased by 130 VND, down to 22,350 VND/liter.
The prices of fuel oil 3.0S; 3.5S and 380 decreased by 100 VND to 18,660 VND/liter, 18,360 VND/liter and 18,260 VND/liter respectively. The price of Ron92 gasoline remained at 24,690 VND/liter and Ron95 gasoline at 25,190 VND/liter.
The new retail price is applied at all distribution systems in Vietnam, including: Petrolimex and PV Oil gas stations and gas stations belonging to agents and general agents of these two enterprises.
The retail price in zone 2 is the maximum price. The General Director of Petrolimex authorizes the Director of the Petrolimex member Petroleum Company to decide on the specific retail price in zone 2 according to the principle that it must not exceed the price in zone 2 mentioned above and in accordance with the area stated in Decision No. 83/PLX-QD-TGĐ dated March 7, 2012.
Petrolimex leaders said that this adjustment of gasoline prices comes from the practical developments of finished oil prices on the world market during the pricing cycle, in accordance with the principles of determining selling prices in Decree 84/2009/ND-CP dated October 15, 2009 of the Government on gasoline trading (Decree 84) and documents guiding the implementation of Decree 84 of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade.
