Gas price increased by 19,000 VND/12kg cylinder
From November 1, each 12 kg gas cylinder to consumers increased by 19,000 VND, to 343,500 VND.

Users have to pay an additional VND1,583 per kg of gas (VND19,000 per 12 kg cylinder) compared to last month, includingvalue added tax(VAT) when purchasing at retail outlets in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces.
This is the 5th consecutive monthgas pricego up. The price increase in November is 3.2 times higher than the increase rate of the previous month (in October, each kg of gas increased by only 500 VND, which means it increased to 6,000 VND for a 12 kg cylinder).
The reason for the increase in gas prices in November is that the world supplier announced the average gas price of 435 USD per ton, an increase of 57.5 USD compared to the previous month. Currently, domestic gas prices depend on world developments because domestic supply can only proactively meet about 60% of consumption.
