A masked man entered a gold shop pretending to buy something, then sprayed pepper spray on the shop owner to rob more than 2 taels of gold.
On the evening of April 18, the Investigation Police Agency, Phan Thiet City Police, Binh Thuan Province coordinated with professional units of Binh Thuan Police to examine the scene and organize a search for the suspect who committed the robbery at the gold shop in the area.

The incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. the same day at the gold shop of Ms. LTL (born in 1974) on Tran Hung Dao Street, Ward 3, Duc Long Ward, Phan Thiet City.

According to initial information, a masked male subject, riding a Vision motorbike alone, came to the gold shop above pretending to buy gold. The subject asked the shop owner to show him the gold products, then asked him to put the gold products in a plastic bag to get money to pay.
Suddenly, he sprayed pepper spray on the shop owner and the people around him, then stole the gold and ran away. It is estimated that the amount of gold from the stolen products was about 2 taels, worth more than 150 million VND.
Phan Thiet City Police Department coordinated with the People's Procuracy at the same level to examine the scene, extract camera footage and search for the suspect.
