Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor on the morning of August 13, 2024 increased from 235.90 - 245.60 cents/lb. Specifically, the September 2024 delivery period is 245.60 cents/lb (up 4.93%); the December 2024 delivery period is 242.65 cents/lb (up 5.39%); the March 2025 delivery period is 238.70 cents/lb (up 5.25%) and the May 2025 delivery period is 235.90 cents/lb, (up 5.01%).
The price of Brazilian Arabica coffee fluctuated sharply on the morning of August 13, 2024. Domestic coffee prices, updated at 5:00 a.m. on August 13, 2024, slightly decreased compared to yesterday, ranging from 117,800 - 118,500 VND/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 118,400 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is 118,500 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai province (Chu Prong) is 118,300 VND, in Pleiku and La Grai the same price is 118,200 VND/kg; in Kon Tum province, coffee is purchased at 118,300 VND/kg; in Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 118,500 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 117,800 VND/kg.

Dak Nong pepper price today was recorded at 137,500 VND/kg, down 4,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
In the Southeast region, pepper prices today decreased sharply compared to yesterday. Specifically, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, it is currently at 137,000 VND/kg, down 4,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday; in Binh Phuoc, pepper prices today are at 137,000 VND/kg, down 4,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Community (IPC), at the end of the most recent trading session, IPC listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 7,320 USD/ton, and the price of Muntok white pepper at 8,970 USD/ton.
The price of Brazilian ASTA 570 black pepper remained stable at USD 6,100/ton, down 4.92%. The price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper remained stable at USD 8,500/ton; the price of this country's ASTA white pepper reached USD 10,400/ton.

Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association concluded that the average domestic pepper price in July 2024 reached 150,000 VND/kg, an increase of 82.9% compared to January and an increase of +120.6% compared to the same period in 2023. On average, the price of black pepper in the first 7 months of 2024 increased by 66.5% compared to 2023.
Meanwhile, the export price of black pepper in June 2024 reached 5,067 USD/ton, up 31.6% compared to January, reaching 3,851 USD/ton. The average export price of black pepper in the first 6 months increased by 17.1% compared to the same period last year. Shortage of supply due to reduced harvest output in Vietnam and Brazil was the main reason for the increase in pepper prices in the second quarter of 2024.
