Pepper price today, September 19, is at 147,000 - 150,000 VND/kg. Pepper price is unchanged from yesterday. Pepper export in early September reached more than 10,500 tons, maintaining stable momentum.
Domestic pepper prices
Pepper prices today in key growing areas remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Accordingly, the domestic pepper price level is from 147,000 VND/kg to 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Gia Lai is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price today in Lam Dong (old Dak Nong) is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper price today in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is currently at 149,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai is unchanged from yesterday at 149,000 VND/kg.
In addition, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.

According to data from VPSA, in the first 16 days of September, Vietnam exported 10,544 tons of pepper, earning 69.3 million USD. This figure is almost equivalent to 10,830 tons and 71.8 million USD in the first 17 days of August, showing that pepper output and export turnover remain stable.
The US remained the largest market with 1,865 tonnes, down 15.4% from the previous month. In contrast, China recorded a 47% increase with 1,416 tonnes, while the UAE increased by 31.6% to 1,034 tonnes. These figures show the growing role of Asian and Middle Eastern markets in the consumption of Vietnamese pepper.
In the group of large exporting enterprises, Olam Vietnam reached 954 tons, Phuc Sinh 815 tons, Nedspice Vietnam 752 tons, Simexco Dak Lak 664 tons and Haprosimex JSC 526 tons.
In the opposite direction, Vietnam imported 998 tons of pepper in the first 16 days of September, worth 6.2 million USD. The largest importers were Nedspice Vietnam (154 tons) and Phuc Sinh (100 tons). The main sources of supply came from Cambodia, Brazil and Indonesia.
Pepper price today September 19 in the world market
In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) updated the prices of all types of pepper traded in the international market on September 18 (local time) as follows:
Indonesia's Lampung black pepper prices decreased slightly compared to yesterday at USD 7,061/ton (down 0.41%). In addition, Muntok white pepper prices decreased slightly compared to yesterday at USD 10,006/ton (down 0.41%).
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600/mt.
Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,700/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price also remained unchanged from yesterday at $12,900/ton.
Prices of all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,600 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at 9,250 USD/ton.
