Gold price lost 70 million VND/tael
Today, the prices of 9999, SJC, 24K, PNJ, DOJI gold fluctuated in opposite directions in both buying and selling directions. Gold price lost the 70 million VND/tael mark.

DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 68.85 million VND/tael for buying and 69.85 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 68.80 - 69.80 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 69.00 - 69.90 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 68.80 - 70.12 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
USD price drops sharply, world USD improves mid-week
Today, November 8, the USD/VND exchange rate, the black market USD price, and the VCB USD continued to drop sharply by 50 VND in both buying and selling directions. The world USD exchange rate improved in the middle of the week.
The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank is adjusted to 24,014 VND/USD, down 50 VND compared to the same time yesterday.
Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,164 VND/USD. The US Dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank of Vietnam from 23,400 to 25,164 VND/USD.
The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of downward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank has a buying price of 24,120 and a selling price of 24,490, down 10 VND compared to the closing price of yesterday's trading session. The current USD buying and selling prices are in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.
Japanese Yen and VCB Yen exchange rates slide sharply
Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of November 8 at banks is as follows:
At Vietcombank, the buying rate is 157.11 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 166.31 VND/JPY, down 1.11 VND for buying and 1.18 VND for selling. At Vietinbank, the Yen rate decreased 0.91 VND for buying and selling, equivalent to 157.59 VND/JPY and 167.29 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the Japanese Yen rate decreased 1.63 VND for buying and 1.59 VND for selling, reaching 157.93 VND/JPY and 166.25 VND/JPY, respectively. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates were 159.14 VND/JPY and 163.98 VND/JPY, down 1.27 VND for buying and 1.29 VND for selling, respectively.
At Eximbank, the buying rate decreased by 0.92 VND and the selling rate decreased by 1.01 VND, respectively, to 159.23 VND/JPY and 163.80 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 1.48 VND and the selling rate decreased by 1.5 VND, respectively, to 154.98 VND/JPY and 167.30 VND/JPY. At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.76 VND and the selling rate decreased by 0.84 VND, respectively, to 159.28 VND/JPY and 165.82 VND/JPY.
According to the survey, Sacombank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and Eximbank is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the banks.
Domestic coffee prices increased slightly
Domestic coffee prices were updated at 5:06 a.m. on November 8, increasing by 500 - 800 VND/kg. Currently, the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is about 58,400 VND/kg, the highest purchase price is 58,600 VND/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces on November 8 was VND58,500/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee was purchased at VND58,500/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, is purchased at 57,900 VND/kg.
In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee price is currently at 58,500 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 58,600 VND/kg.
