Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament 2024 starts from June 6
On the afternoon of May 28, the Organizing Committee of the 26th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament - 2024 met to discuss the organization and prepare all the most thoughtful conditions for the tournament to take place successfully.
Comrade Ngo Duc Kien - Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 26th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament chaired the meeting.
Attending the event were the Deputy Organizing Committee members: Hoang Van Phuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training; Tran Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Nguyen Dinh Nghia - Vice President of Nghe An Football Federation; and members of the Organizing Committee.
The 26th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament in 2024 has the participation of 33 teams including: 19 Children's age groups, 14 Youth age groups from 21 districts, cities and towns across the province.
In the 2024 season, matches will take place at the Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center in Vinh City. In which, the Children's matches will take place in the gymnasium, while the Youth matches will take place on artificial turf.
In particular, in addition to being broadcast live on Nghe An Newspaper's digital platforms, the matches of the 26th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children's Football Tournament will be broadcast on FPT Play Television of the media partner, FPT Telecommunication Joint Stock Company.
At the meeting, members discussed key issues in organizing the 26th tournament, contributing many constructive ideas.
Delegates agreed that it is necessary to continue promoting the positive results of previous years' tournaments, promptly promulgate the tournament regulations to send to localities for research, and establish football teams to participate in the tournament.
In addition, the Organizing Committee members also emphasized that the tournament should be organized with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring savings and efficiency, contributing to finding and discovering factors for Nghe An sports.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Phuong - Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Management, Department of Culture and Sports, member of the Organizing Committee of the tournament also discussed a number of proposals to change and adjust the content of the regulations and referee work...
Regarding the issue of personnel work for the tournament, the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Management suggested that it should be done strictly from the beginning. In addition, each athlete participating in the competition should be registered with only one fixed shirt number until the end of the season.
Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Director of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center suggested adjusting the competition time to suit the actual weather, ensuring the professional quality and health of athletes participating in the competition on the field.
Mr. Le Minh Dieu - Deputy Director of the Center for Training and Competition of Physical Education and Sports, member of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said that he will coordinate with Nghe An Newspaper and the Organizing Committee to ensure adequate grounds, gymnasiums, as well as other related technical issues.
After listening to the opinions of the members of the Organizing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee Ngo Duc Kien concluded a number of key contents that need to be focused on and implemented soon in the near future.
The Organizing Committee also needs to carefully and thoroughly prepare the plan for organizing the draw for division into groups; the opening and closing programs must ensure the organization of the tournament is compact, light, modern, and has great influence.
The Head of the Organizing Committee requested that, based on the agreed and assigned tasks, members should actively and wholeheartedly strive to ensure resources and focus as much as possible so that the tournament can take place smoothly, leaving special impressions in the hearts of the public and fans of the king sport.
The 26th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament is expected to open on June 6, 2024 and close on June 13, 2024.
