In order to build a football movement, starting from 2017, Quy Chau district has been struggling to build a plan to promote the benefits and attractiveness of football to each school. At the same time, Quy Chau district decided to organize community football classes in Tan Lac town.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of the Center for Culture, Sports and Communications of Quy Chau district shared: "In order to build a football movement for the district, about 7 years ago we organized widespread propaganda campaigns to schools. The Center for Culture, Sports and Communications of Quy Chau district worked with communes and schools to find ways to create football fields for children to practice. At the same time, we also opened community football classes. In particular, to build a movement of loving to play football, Quy Chau district invited football star Van Quyen to coach children in community classes organized by the district. With many of these methods, we have gradually attracted many children to practice the king sport."

After many years of persistently building the movement, Quy Chau district began to make an impression when participating in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup. Especially in 2023, in the group stage, Quy Chau Children with a tight playing style, knowing the enemy and knowing themselves, made it difficult for the teams in the same group.

At that time, the team from Phu Quy almost made Nhi Dong Cua Lo have to swallow the bitter pill. Nhi Dong Quy Chau with the appropriate playing style, opened the score of the match against Cua Lo. However, due to a lack of luck, this team had to share points with the representative from the coastal town.

After 3 draws with the old teams Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Cua Lo, Nhi Dong Quy Chau had to sadly stop at the group stage. However, the image of a Nhi Dong Quy Chau team playing resiliently excited the large audience watching the tournament.

Determined to pass the group stage

Entering the 2024 season, Quy Chau will most likely only participate in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup in the Youth playground. Participating in this tournament, U12 Quy Chau has a core of players with a lot of battle experience as they have participated in the Nghe An Newspaper Cup in 2023. In addition, this team also added a number of quality athletes from neighboring communes of the town.

To prepare for the tournament for more than a week now, the coach of the Quy Chau Youth Team has decided to increase the training volume. At the Quy Chau Stadium, under the guidance of coach Le Viet Khoa, 14 players are stretching themselves with physical exercises, practicing defensive strategies, building counter-attacks, perfecting their kicking skills...

Besides, the coach also informed the players about the new rules of the 7-a-side field to avoid confusion when entering the competition.

With serious and systematic training, Quy Chau Youth Team hopes to demonstrate a playing style of tight ball control on the home field, organize scientific defense and when there is an opportunity, switch from a state to an attack with high efficiency.

“With their current strength, I require the players to make sure they don’t concede any goals before thinking about scoring. I want Thieu Nien Quy Chau to play solidly on the home field and be effective in counter-attacks. In my opinion, a team must not only play with dedication but also have achievements to create passion for the players and leave an impression in the hearts of the fans. Therefore, Thieu Nien Quy Chau will enter the tournament with the determination to win each match, aiming to pass the group stage and bring joy to the home audience” – Coach Le Viet Khoa said.

With the current force and careful preparation, Thieu Nien Quy Chau promises to demonstrate effective playing style, ready to make traditional teams wary.
