Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children Football Tournament will start from June 9

On May 17, the Organizing Committee of the 22nd Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament 2018 met to discuss the implementation of the new season plan.

This is a tournament organized annually by Nghe An Newspaper, Department of Culture, Sports and Song Lam Nghe An Club for the past 21 years with the aim of creating a healthy and useful playground for teenagers and children; encouraging and motivating them to participate in training and practice, on that basis to discover talents for the province's football and at the same time being an opportunity to promote the socialization of sports activities, promote the brands of units and businesses, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

This year, the tournament continues to gather dozens of youth and children's football teams from districts, cities and towns to compete in Vinh city. SLNA scouts will directly monitor each match to select players with potential to enter the club's youth training center.

All matches are reported live on Nghe An Newspaper, on youtube and fanpages.

At the meeting, the Organizing Committee reviewed and approved the rules, regulations and some other contents.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from June 9 to June 16, 2018.

Not only a playground for young players, the Youth - Children Football Tournament Cup Nghe An Newspaper is also a place to discover many talents for Vietnamese football. Players such as Cong Vinh, Van Quyen, Cong Phuong, Trong Hoang, Au Van Hoan, Dinh Dong, Ho Tuan Tai, Xuan Manh, Van Duc... were all discovered from this tournament.
