Rescue 3 victims of being tricked and sold abroad

(Baonghean.vn) -Implementing Project 315l, after 1 month of monitoring, at 8:30 a.m. on May 11, 2013, at Zone 2, Ka Long Ward - Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh, the anti-crime and drug prevention force and Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with Quang Ninh Border Guard to organize a crackdown, arresting 2 subjects selling women abroad, and rescuing 3 victims.

The two arrested subjects include: Vi Thi Hoa (also known as Yen), born in 1991, residing in Na Ca village, Que Son commune, Que Phong district, and Lo Thi Ty, born in 1984, residing in Tuong Duong district (Nghe An).

Authorities promptly rescued three victims: Lim Thi Nhung in Chau Nga commune, Quy Chau district; Lo Thi Coong, born in 1984, and Lo Thien Ly, born in 1993, in Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An).

Through taking statements, the method that the subjects often use to trick women into being sold across the border is under the guise of going abroad to work with high salaries, or working in restaurants, hotels, etc. The case is being further investigated by the Nghe An border guards.
