At around 5:00 p.m. on March 18, train number VRA D19-028- PST1 running on the Phan Thiet-Sai Gon Railway Station route was traveling in the North-South direction to Km1719+366 (intersection with Binh Loi Street, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) when suddenly a man named TTQ (born in 1974, from Ha Nam) appeared in the middle of the tracks.

Although the train driver pulled the brakes, victim Q was still caught under the train, crying miserably. Victim Q's left hand was stuck in the first wheel axle of the train's engine.

Rescue team pulled the victim out from under the train.

The incident caused the train to be delayed.

Hundreds of people stopped their vehicles to watch the incident, causing traffic congestion on this road.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Binh Thanh District Police arrived at the scene to deploy rescue measures. After 30 minutes of using a pump to lift the train car, the victim Q was taken out from under the train and quickly transferred to the hospital.

The incident caused the train to stop on the tracks for nearly an hour, affecting other train lines.

According to some locals, when the train was approaching the above point, victim Q suddenly ran across the tracks and the above incident occurred.
