In particular, the best songs about the Vietnamese sea, about love, and pride in territorial sovereignty resounded heartily on the Proud Melody stage such as “Far away from home,” “Love poem of the marine soldier,” “The sea sings this afternoon,” “Love of my sea,” “My hometown port,” “Unification song”… truly moved and touched the deepest place of love for the homeland and country of every Vietnamese child.
Continuing that climax, the organizers boldly brought the Proud Melody "Southward" with the idea of bringing the waves of melodies and lyrics closer to the sea and islands, to the sacred Fatherland.
Accordingly, the first episode recorded in Ho Chi Minh City will convey timeless stories about the sea and islands such as the joyful working atmosphere, the love of marine soldiers or the image of a wife waiting for her husband when the two shores are separated.
With a series of songs about the sea and islands, the August 2014 issue of the program Pride Melody will have the theme "Our love for the silver sea and green fields" with the appearance of singers loved by the audience.
According to the Organizing Committee, the audience will be surprised by the most classic duets of the century, which have been completely re-arranged and arranged.
Besides two familiar names who have been associated with the program when filming in Hanoi, musician Quoc Trung and musician Thanh Phuong, Giai dieu tu van "Nam tien" also has the participation of two famous names in the southern entertainment industry, General Director Nguyen Tranh and choreographer Tan Loc.
The "opening" program in Ho Chi Minh City will be broadcast on VTV3 channel at 8:00 p.m. on August 30.
