At the transaction point of Kim Lien commune, the Nam Dan District Social Policy Bank has disbursed loans of 600 million VND to 120 poor households with students. Up to now, the total outstanding loans for students in Kim Lien commune is 13.1 billion VND with 1,300 households borrowing capital. Kim Lien commune is also the locality with the second largest number of students studying at vocational schools, colleges and universities in the district.MaleThe district's Social Policy Bank is ready to fully meet the capital needs of students, while promoting propaganda and mobilizing households to borrow money and save through groups, saving 1,000 VND/household per day, to accumulate and reduce the burden of debt repayment.

Since the beginning of the year, households borrowing student loans due for repayment in Kim Lien commune have paid back about 800 million VND. This capital continues to be reinvested in new student loans.
