Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi informed voters of some basic contents of the 8th session of the 13th National Assembly. Speaking at the conference, voters also highly agreed with the program and results of the National Assembly's work in the last session. In addition, voters also made some recommendations to National Assembly deputies. Accordingly, voters suggested that the State should pay attention to improving the regime for elderly cadres at the commune, village and hamlet levels in order to promote the role of the elderly in economic and social development, especially in rural and mountainous areas, where most elderly people do not have pensions. At the same time, the age of the elderly receiving subsidies should be reduced and the monthly subsidy level should be increased. |
