Sports Award of Nghe An Culture, Sports & Tourism

(Baonghean) -After two days (March 23 and 24, 2011) of exciting competition, the sports tournament for officials and employees of the entire Nghe An Culture - Sports & Tourism sector to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27) ended successfully.

The tournament was attended by 19 delegations of athletes from 19 facilities under the Department of Culture - Sports & Tourism with 213 athletes of all ages, competing in three sports: chess, badminton and tug of war.

After 2 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 first prizes, 8 second prizes and 16 third prizes to the athletes of the teams.

The contest aims to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2011), and is also an opportunity to encourage cadres, workers and civil servants in the whole industry to practice sports, exchange and learn from each other and share experiences.
