Vietnam Golden Star Award: Actual assessment of businesses that have made it to the final round
August 9, Appraisal Team No. 27Vietnam Golden Star Award(SVĐV) in 2013 completed the appraisal work at 8 enterprises in 2 provinces of Dong Thap and Ca Mau.
Mr. Nguyen Phuong Nam, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association, Head of the 27th Appraisal Team, said that despite the current difficult economic conditions, many enterprises are still trying to rise up, and some enterprises have achieved very positive business results in the first 6 months of 2013. These are positive signals for the economy in general as well as the belief in truly dynamic and creative Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
On the same day, Appraisal Team No. 20, led by Mr. Do Manh Hung, Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, also concluded its survey and appraisal trip in the Central region. During three days from August 7 to 9, the team conducted a survey and appraisal of 10 enterprises in the three provinces of Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang and Quang Ngai.
The 2013 SVĐV Award has 231 enterprises entering the final round, after the actual assessment, 200 enterprises will be selected for the award. The SVĐV Award Final Selection Council Conference is expected to take place on August 16, 2013; the award ceremony and the 20th anniversary of the Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs Movement and the 10th anniversary of the SVĐV Award will be solemnly held in Hanoi on National Day, September 2, 2013 and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
